Wildlife
Cairngorms National Park is home to some of the most interesting and endangered species in UK. You can spot reindeers, red squirrels, golden eagles, wild rabbits, wildcats, ospreys, deer and other rare species.
Take a tour of the Osprey Centre and The Highland Wildlife Park to encounter some unique wildlife.
Heritage
The Cairngorm region had a strong part in Scotland's history and you can go back in time visiting the multiple castles in the area. You can get a taste of those days by visiting the Braemar Castle, Drumin Castle, Ballindalloch Castle and Balmoral Castle.
They are open most of the days, though you might want to check their specific opening times before visiting.


Museums
If you want to get up and close with the culture and tradition of the local area, you should make a point to visit the museums located in the region. The Grantown Museum tells you how the town was planned back in 18th Century while the Clan Macpherson Museum takes you back to the days of World War I.
